Orestes Davias

He was born in Graz, Austria in 1964 but moved to Greece as a child. He is a Biologist, specialized in Botany. He wrote (in Greek) the book Aphrodisiac: Herbs, substances, recipes from Eros the magician. He contributes articles on health food to magazines and columns on little-known episodes from the universe of phytology to newspapers. He has an active interest in oriental and occidental herbal remedies; studies the effects of incense on health and mood, and also conducts a study on vegetarianism in ancient and modern Greece.
